Olatunbosun Tijani
Olatunbosun Tijani, an entrepreneur and the current Nigerian Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy since 2023, is renowned for his role in co-founding CcHUB and spearheading initiatives such as acquiring Kenya’s iHub and establishing the CcHUB Design Lab in Kigali, Rwanda.
Prior to his involvement with CcHUB, Tijani held positions at the International Trade Centre in Geneva, focusing on trade development and enterprise management. He led successful programs in web-marketing and information services across Ghana, Uganda, and Kenya. Additionally, he worked at Hewlett Packard, overseeing the deployment of learning centers in Kenya and Nigeria. Later, he served as the European Innovation Manager at Pera Innovation Network.
In 2010, Tijani played a pivotal role in co-founding CcHUB, where he drove various social technology projects and transformed Yaba into a thriving tech hub. Under his leadership, CcHUB has significantly influenced businesses in sectors such as environment, healthcare, education, and cybersecurity.
Tijani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, an MSc in Information Systems and Management, and a PhD in innovation and economic development from the University of Leicester. He also participated in the Innovation for Economic Development program at Harvard Kennedy School and was selected as a Draper Hills Fellow at Stanford University.
